Stop Cheering in Super Hero Movies, You’re 35 and it is Weird

Absolutely disgusting behavior from these types of people. Children for the most part can get a pass on this. But if you were the guy who kicked my seat out of excitement back when Spiderman No Way Home came out, just because Toby Maguire and Andrew Garfield showed up in the movie. I strongly urge you to run as fast as you can into oncoming highway traffic. These are grown ups cheering, people who pay taxes, vote, operate within the delicate fabric of our society. They cheer, scream, and jump because Captain America picks up Thors hammer. Jesus Christ on the cross, get it together people. If a children’s movie is what deserves your applause, and excitement then I have no choice but to consider you a predator. It is as simple as that. I trust the old guy showing up to a movie by himself with a big tub of popcorn on his lap first before I trust you seat rattling perverts.

Look I understand a good movie is supposed to elicit emotions out of its viewers. In a comedy you laugh, a drama you cry, a horror you scream, and for 50 Shades of Grey you do a bit of everything but mostly sterilize the seat when you leave. That is what you should look to get out of a trip to the movie theater. However these superhero movies are different. I have grown up on every single one of these Marvel movies, and still reluctantly hand my money over when a mildly intriguing one comes out. In the entire catalog of Marvel I have never once been so over joyed by a scene that it caused me to shake like a Parkinson’s patient. Trust me I don’t lack emotion either, I enjoy seeing a member from the Avengers show up just in time to help the team. But I have hair on my ass now, so like a grown up I process the fan-fare of the moment and continue to enjoy the film as a respectful viewer.

There needs to be a way to lay the law down on these movie lunatics. I don’t think prison is the correct punishment being that is terrifying, and brutal. An adult moron cheering since Iron Man picked up the Infinity Gauntlet before Thanos is more so an annoyance/inconvenience so the punishment should fit as such. Like if you kicked an cheered in the movie and you’re an adult then on your way out of the theater someone will run up and smack chewed gum in your hair. If you’re bald you get your tires slashed. If we’re out of gum you get your tires slashed, and robbed. That seems fair. No race or gender discrimination. Just purely has to do with adults who can’t be civil in a movie theater.
